The only thing that got me to finish this book was how much I loved reading Ancillary Justice. While the second book in the trilogy was meh, this one was just plain bad. Story essentially goes nowhere the whole book, until the entire plot happens in like 1 chapter. The translator and ancient ship behaved like awful comic relief characters, and it was hard to read. How many times can characters have an emotionless face that covey's tons of emotion, why does this happen like every page? I swear the author was forced to write a trilogy but truly had no idea what to do with it.
