I didn't think this book could come anywhere close to Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe but it did and I loved it.
Sal's life has always been a simple and happy one. He's got an amazing father, an awesome bestfriend and his grandmother is his everything (and he is hers). But all of a sudden, he's throwing punches and doesn't even know why.
Benjamin Alire Sáenz is a wonderful storyteller and he brings his characters alive with very real struggles, thoughts and actions. There wasn't a character I didn't care about and the audiobook brought tears to my eyes on a number of occassions. I'll definitely going through the rest of his works and this is yet another library book that I'll have to add to my personal library.
