The prose is beautiful and captures the often concomitant doom and joy of the many members of the family throughout. The pacing is really fast, introducing new characters with their own lush inner world often which means you have to have a good memory with names, especially since they reuse the same name so many times. Overall good, but oh my lord is the author kind of a freak when it comes to sexuality, like chill bro.
