Incredible use of horror for generational trauma and the spiral into giving up your self for others. 

Check trigger warnings. Very complicated mother-daughter relationships, generational trauma from colonization, self-harm, religious trauma, motherhood, etc. It all goes really well with the horror genre and can be healing for some but take care of yourself even if that means not reading this one. That said, I highly recommend it if you’re up for it
