Prehistory: A Very Short Introduction by Chris Gosden

informative slow-paced

1.75

the first three chapters are just preamble talking about cultural relativity and other (long winded) anthropology 101 stuff?? and the last chapter compared language as a technology to "cyberspace" and also mentioned cyborgs and MUDs... that leaves just two chapters (4&5) that actually felt like they were about PREHISTORY most of the time. there were a couple of interesting tidbits in those chapters but still not enough to redeem the book as a whole.
