A cute little book that's sort of a field guide to the critters that populate Japanese folklore. It doesn't get too in depth with the folk tales, but does give a nice review of multiple creatures. Each entry is illustrated with a full-page cartoon and then some traditional art of the beast (usually from an ukiyo-e print).
