This was a fun “hate read.” Our MC was so annoying, and honestly kind of dumb. All of the characters, especially the Fey, were incredibly unhelpful and rarely told our MC about anything that was actually happening during the story, and overall, the book felt sexist. There were many times that the dialogue made me cringe, and so many moments that were just uncomfortable because of the writing. Also, this was a 20 hour long audiobook, but nothing happened. This could have so easily been cut in half, and it would have made the story so much more interesting if it had been. The only reason it’s getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because I enjoyed how bad it was, and that’s why I kept reading.
