Great Big Beautiful Life
by Emily Henry
I always seem to follow the same process with Emily Henry books: I'm excited to read them, disappointed at the beginning, start to enjoy the build-up and then get sucked in and end up reading until 3 in the morning until I've finished it.
This one was no different! At first, I thought it was a copy of The Seven Lives of Evelyn Hugo (a journalist comes to interview a famous recluse), but it turned out to be a story of how fame, fortune and secrets affect people. All with the banter and chemistry (here between the FMC journalist and a rival journalist) for which Emily Henry is known.
A recommended read for fans of Emily Henry and heartfelt biopics.
