Crash-Landed in Love by Renee Fox, Piper Scott
Did not finish book. Stopped at 54%.
Dnf @ 71%, pg281 ch17
I enjoyed the first half of this book so much, the setup and introductions fof Al & Jude were lovely. Their chemistry, the bond and the spice is off the charts. I enjoyed their developing relationship and feels.
Sadly the language barrier and differences in species prove to much here, as after some time skip Al reveals Jude is pregnant. Which he thought Jude already knew, honestly they're both at fault as Jude never asks any questions about Al/his home when think about.
Al is simply to curious about Earth and humans, so his lifestyle doesn't really come up in discussion only his pov until the revelations.
50% breakup is not for me, especially when Jude then feels like a different character and a complete dick. His indecisiveness and Als heartbreak, willing to take anything he can get even with Jude telling him to leave and take the babies when arrive. Along with saying he doesn't love him, just so frustrating.
Now I may have kept going if Jude's pov saved him, his thoughts were improved but he was too much up his own ass and his problems to try to accept anyone in. His family are awful and the ex, so can see why his worried and holding back but done in such a horrible way.
The treatment of Al was awful and I was all for Al being spiteful, he had every right and yet his focus was still only ever on Jude. Anyway I just lost interest in continuing as no longer care for one of the MCs.
