My Murder by Katie Williams

My Murder is about a woman who tries to solve her murder, after being cloned back to life. The science fiction world building is nicely constructed and explained in small doses. The first two-thirds of this novel is focused on how differently the protagonist feels from her past self. Then the pace picks up and there is a greater emphasis on solving the mystery, which has some unexpected twists. There is a mildly comical tone to the book. Given the topic, this would have been more believable if only the protagonist had this quirky sense of humour, but multiple characters contribute to this tone. Overall, though, this book is an enjoyable read.
