  • Using her experience at the Old Bailey, Joseph talks us through 6 murder trials. Although these are notionally fictional, they clearly show how cases might unwind as more information is revealed and also the every day frustrations of life in court (ill-prepared barristers, rebellious jurors, fights over the best biscuits). Very relatable and readable;  Would have been a 5 if the cases had not started to seem a bit repetitive by the end
