I only really finished this book because the premise interested me - we know from the start that the main character is awaiting trial for murder, but we don't know how she got there.
The writing was, quite frankly, truly awful, and a prime example of why older men shouldn't try to write in the voice of younger women. The dialogue and her train of thought were laughable most of the time and if I hadn't actually paid good money for the book it would likely have been a DNF
