There was definitely a lot of spice but after a while it just felt like the author was trying to shove as many kinks as possible into the storyline. Some were not my cup of tea and I ended up skimming those parts.
I wanted it to be more in depth about the building of the emotional connection and it was glossed over so quickly for all of the relationships.
It also felt like Marcus and Tom had a separate relationship that was “above,” or more important than Sam and Emily. They still shared a room but Sam and Emily had to have their own rooms when they moved in.
