A series of almost comically disassociated stories, often marked by the common tragedies of life but where they are not treated as such. If you’ve ever had someone come up to you and strike up a conversation you don’t want to be a part of, and told you a story you didn’t want to hear, this is what that book feels like. It is also when that story sticks with you. The titular Wednesday’s Child was definitely the standout story from this collection.
