The Boy's Own Manual to Being a Proper Jew
by Eli Glasman
This really warmed my heart.
My only real criticism was it was a bit simplistic, and the ending was very 'tied up with a pretty bow', but I had to remind myself this was YA. Like, Yossi and Josh's relationship was very fast and lacked some development - they were just suddenly enamoured with one another. I think if I were the correct age this would've been perfect, but as an adult, it felt a little too tidy and quick.
Regardless, do give this a shot.
