Dark Gold by Christine Feehan

2.0

Having read a couple of these by now the plot is feeling familiar; the Carpathian male uncertain if she will accept him but desperate to make her stay, the human woman; defenseless against her attraction to him yet desperate not to give up her freedom. The overly possessive nature of the Carpathian men annoys me slightly, as does the fact that all the women are virgins as the men can't stand the thought that any other man might have touched them. It's not clear whether this same state of virginity is applied to the men. Time for Feehan to develop a new plot.
