The Baileys series by Piper Rayne is one of my all time favorites, so getting all the second generation stories has been so fun! I also love how their stories tend to tie into their parents stories! Palmer’s parents had a rough road, but ended up very happy. It is interesting to see the impact of Palmer knowing their true story in this one. I sincerely enjoyed Palmer and Hudson’s story. Something I like is that I don’t feel like there was a lot of unnecessary drama. I also like how even though it was a little messy in the beginning–them figuring out that they did have feelings for each other while dating other people–there was no cheating. It was kind of painful to watch in the most real way, which made me really appreciate their journey. I also felt like you could tell these two were good together. I really loved how Hudson treated Palmer. Since she’s hard of hearing, the scenes where he shows care around that were really touching. Palmer is a romance author, and she’s writing a book throughout the story. I thought it was really neat how Piper Rayne tied the romance she was writing into the romance between her and Hudson. This one just felt real and made me happy! As usual, they gave us a glimpse into the next book, and I CANNOT WAIT!
