Preppy: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater, Part Two by T.M. Frazier
5.0
I didn’t even stop to write my review for Preppy Part One before I started on Preppy Part Two. But if you know how Part One ended, you wouldn’t blame me. Part Two was a little bit harder to read, but it was even better than the first. I loved it just as much and it was truly excellent.
Preppy and Dre are somewhat different, but that was to be expected and it wasn’t in bad ways. They’re both strong and they’re just awesome characters. They’ve been through a lot but they’re better for it. I loved Preppy and Dre’s differences — I just loved them.
Preppy Part Two made my heart ache more, but it still made me laugh and smile. It was sweet and beautiful and heartbreaking. It was full of strength, independence, overcoming and finding all.
Preppy Part Two must be read after Part One and you should read the rest of the King series before you start on Preppy’s story. It’s told from Preppy and Dre’s POV and while they don't get their HEA yet, they're solid.
