Book started out fantastic and continued to be fantastic up until the last quarter. The end felt extremely rushed and really made a superb gore/horror book into something less. I am just now realizing that the virologists that we spent a good few chapters with just completely disappeared from the story in the last half of the book. There really is only one character in the entire book and everyone else just seems like some "Average Joe" extremely forgettable person. Still going to read the next one though.
