I'm all for exploring different types of romance while playing with Greek myths...but I think Katee Robert has lost the thread.
We can never have past lovers move on or passing attraction go unfulfilled. Our characters are all self-aware about the craziness of their new relationships but then they forge ahead anyway!
The spicy scenes were...fine. But a bit lackluster compared to Helen, Achilles, and Patroclus. That triad had a lot more chemistry and fun.
Again, I did enjoy the growing political machinations and war possibility. I think Robert could come up with a decent political or war drama. She is just starting to repeat herself with the romance side.
