A Lady Unrivaled by Roseanna M. White

5.0

Lady Ella Myerston is not as naïve as people think. She can always find a reason to smile but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t noticed the dangers that have plagued her brother and friend. So she decides to take matters into her own hands and find a way to remove the dangers from their lives. And if the gruff Lord James Cayton happens to be a helpful companion, then so be it. James has already broken two hearts, so he doesn’t plan to risk a third. But he isn’t the same man he was before, and he can’t deny the love that is growing as he spends more time with Ella. And he will do anything to protect her.

What a great end to this series! The pacing of this story was good. Roseanna M. White brought in some new and intriguing characters while also giving us some of our favorites from previous books. Ella and Cayton had a sweet romance and relationship that developed over not a lot of time but just enough time. Ella’s bubbly personality was perfect for Cayton and bringing out his own flirtatious and teasing side. The conclusion to the fire eyes plot was very well done. Not too bonkers and a perfect ending to where the diamonds should end up. And also, we got some redemption for at least one villain which was amazing and lovely. It was deserved.
