I related the to story as someone who had to come to terms with my sexuality as a new adult after falling for a specific person who challenged my comphet mindset. The writing wasn’t perfect, and the story dragged in places, but I thought it was overall a good story. The narration in the audiobook was likewise good, not great. There were some inconsistencies and at least one instance where a name was pronounced differently than it had been throughout.

I don’t typically read books if I know the protagonists are <25 years old, but I wanted to see what the hype was. I enjoyed the book, but I’m not sure I’d reread.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Highly enjoyed, would likely read again
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: This book is now a part of my regular rotation to re-read and/or changed my brain chemistry
