Although the book had a bit of a slow start, it more than made up for it with its interesting plot and characters. I love the female focus, and it was reminiscent of the Girl on the Train.
I think the buildup was great as well as the Aussie references throughout. I've never read a book that has made me laugh audibly and recoil in fear between a few pages. It's definitely worth the read but HUGE trigger warning for sufferers of domestic abuse or assault.
