Cute story! It is difficult to understand the various species of beings if you're not already familiar with them. Once you get used to that, the story reveals itself to be easily digested. The author leaned heavily on holding back on reveals to keep things interesting which is a pet peeve of mine but the reveals were generally quick. Kept thinking that it would make a fun little video game (or a fun bigger video game) but still keeping the core of this story with a lot of warmth.
