I’m sad to see the end of a good series, I would love to know how things o for Sandy and his soon to be wife and how Perez would face the future with Cassie.
My peeve in this book, as it’s been since book 5, is the presence of the despicable slob Willow Reeves. She seems even worse this time with that imposition of her pregnancy on Perez and I so hoped she wouldn’t make it to the end of the book. That Perez slept with her in a previous book was terrible but a bairn with that slob hippie was too much.
On the other hand, all the other characters were as I love them and the plot such that it took me a long time to figure out who could be the killer; at least, I had the right family in mind.
