"There is so much ugliness and imperfection in the world. We know it exists but we create further trauma by being forced to look at it. Some things are better ignored."

MINDBLOWN. It is beyond what I actually expected. Can I give this a hundred stars? This book definitely deserves it. I'm not one to read history-ish books but this is so well-written. Definitely a page-turner. All the characters are so deep and amazingly written. I love how these ugly and nasty truths about this historical event was made into this materpiece of a book.

I really don't know how to say it in words. I cannot even start to describe how outstanding it is. One of the best books I've read so far this year.

Just go read it, guys! Definitely worth it.
I swear on everyone's grave!
