Black Girls Must Be Magic by Jayne Allen

5.0

I’m going to start book 3 of this series soon but want to say that this was needed in my late 20’s/early 30’s. The author does a great job of navigating real life in the world of Black women and it’s refreshing and frustrating all at the same time.

In this book, the dynamic between Tabitha and her mom really resonated with me. They want the best for us as far as they what the best should be, based on how they were raised. That’s a whole sermon!

I believe women, young and seasoned can take something away from this.
