King Of Flames by Kathryn Ann Kingsley

4.0

Magic, myths, and madness, oh my ! This is the first book in a six part series. I finished book one and immediately started on book two.

Cost: $
Reasonably priced and available for all budgets and formats of your preference.

3 Things I liked:
1. Amazing world building: A unique blend of Wonderland’s dark and bizarre atmosphere mixed with epic legends and myths with an original spin, Kingsley transports the reader into a strange, decadent and deadly new world.

2. A Tough, unique, and witty protagonist: Lydia feels like a genuine real person. She’s tough, resilient, fearless and funny. Her character is easy to connect with and you’ll find yourself rooting for her as she faces some frightening odds.

3.High stakes: It’s a matter of life or death for Lydia, and even if she survives, her life will be altered forever. There’s no going back and the possible outcomes are endless.
