The Complete Art of Fullmetal Alchemist by Hiromu Arakawa

5.0

This is a wonderful book that includes all the art Arakawa did for FMA from 2001-2010 (Has it really been so long since the series ended?!), so basically it has everything from the previous three art books combined into one glorious art book!

I really enjoyed looking at all the artwork again--there were a couple pieces I wasn't familiar but overall I've looked at FMA so much I remembered the majority. 8D I also enjoyed the interview at the end that went over her process for creating pieces for a manga. I wish it had included her thoughts from the previous art books on each individual piece as well but I guess that might have made it much larger than it already was....

As I was looking through the book it occurred to me that I've been a fan of this series for years and new things are still being created for it; I think that's pretty cool and I hope other series I'm a fan of manage such longevity! Arakawa really did an amazing thing with this series. ^^
