The Third Kingdom by Terry Goodkind

3.0

3.5 may be more accurate. I'm just not ready to rank it up there with his early works.

I feel the plot and the potential that the "Wizard's First Rule" brought to the series is far more than what the "Omen Machine" and "The Third Kingdom" have brought together. It is moving too slow and not building enough of a story.

One aspect of the plot that I find interesting is the future of prophecy. In my mind, he has validated it as a proper form knowledge far more than he has brought doubt into it. With how much he talks about it, I am going to need a very logical explanation for it.
