The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake

5.0

Someday, perhaps quite soon, they might be able to create entire worlds; to not only reach, but to become like gods.

This book was AMAZING, it was one of my best reads or prolly the best read of 2021. The characters, the writing, they plot, everything was perfect. this book left me speechless, i certainly regret not reading it sooner. and i loved the writing, i don't always talk about a books writing and even i do it would be about how bad it was but this one was beautifully written with amazing and addicting characters.

The character, god i'm in love with all of them and maybe a little obsessed.

Libby was a hero. Parisa was a villain. Their goals were overarching, appositional. Nico and Reina were so impartial and self-interested as to be wholly negligible. Tristan was a soldier. He would follow wherever he was most persuasively led. It was Callum who was an assassin.

I liked all the character from the start except for reina, i didn't understand her and her character just so-so but that doesn't mean she's not amazing. i guess i wanted more of her.

'Because you doubt your place here?'
'No,' Reina said, and she didn't. 'I knew it was mine if I wanted it.'

I like how confident she sounds an her and she's a naturalist, plants call her mother and i love plants which means i love reina.

“You’re powerful. You are someone worth knowing well, and fully, and perhaps deeply.”

Libby Rhodes, i've had my eye on her from the start. I LOVE HER, she was the most relatable character. Like when she said this.

“Men, conceptually, are canceled,” Libby said to her knees. “This Society? Founded by men, I guarantee it. A man’s idea. Totally male.” She pursed her lips. “Theoretically, men are a disaster. As a concept, I unequivocally reject them.”

If you don't love her after i mean how could you not love her??

Really, there was nothing more dangerous than a woman who knew her own worth.

I WOULD WORSHIP THIS WOMAN. Idk how people find parisa annoying, i find her hot af and she's badass. she's my second favorite character in this book, she's the sexiest woman alive. Idk why but i'm obsessed with her rn.

He could see, in some sense, reality itself: a true, unbiased state of it.

TRISTAN CAINE, i read this book bc of him. he shares his name with the ml of [b:The Predator|52871061|The Predator (Dark Verse, #1)|RuNyx|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1576459099l/52871061._SX50_SY75_.jpg|73765405] and i was curious, i wanted to know if the tristan caines had anything in common except for their names.

Callum Nova was very accustomed to getting what he wanted.

he's a manipulative asshole, so what? I LOVE HIM and i love that he's a manipulative asshole. callum nova can do whatever he wants with me and i wouldn't care.

there's one thing i hate in this book, i don't know who to ship with who.
Spoileri want a nicolibby end game and a nicogideon end game and that threesome with parisa, libby and tristan?? just kill me. it's like everyone wants to fuck everyone.

i'm gonna assume that the book will be a libby corruption arc bc it has to be one.
