You get introduced to this little girl, then this government agent, and then these government-tested guys, and then somewhere in the far future and you've left behind all these other characters. While I understand world-building and giving characters a backstory, this book just introduced so many and then kinda stalled at times. It became hard to be motivated to read more. I tried to listen back to the audiobook multiple times, but in the end it didn't matter. My focus and interest waned...so here's to my 1st DNF. May you find a better audience than me. ✌️
