Gorgeously imagined and inventive, this story ties together a magic drawn from nature and controlled by music, mysterious codependent twins desperate to know why they could never fit in or feel safe, and an orphaned girl in a magical world who cannot find her place in it or her own magic.
I just adore Astrid and Jonas’ codependency and finely entwined love for one another and seeing the way it reluctantly expanded to include Gwen. The magical world is compelling and exciting and the hints of romance in future instalments are tantalisingly sweet!
I’ll be excited to read the next in this series 💕
