This reminded me of everything I love about books. The characters, a new world and culture (I loved the Polynesian type setting), dragons, lore and an island setting? Everything about this has me completely hooked. Almost a perfect 5 stars. The only reason I docked half a point is the ending had the potential to go out in a bang, and instead it was more of a whimper. Still good though. I highly recommend this. I wish all YA could be like this.
