Can I call a book good if it has that much war?

Before reading this book please look at the content warnings. This book is brutal.
When starting this book I only knew it was well written due to BookTok. I did not expect this level of brutality.

The book is divided up into three parts.
The First part describes Rins life in the military school. Thereby she learns how to fight and how to control her inner self. Afterward in the second part, the war begins while in the third part, everything becomes more detailed. This has the most detailed descriptions in it.

All in all, this book is well-written and exciting. I could not put it down, so I read this entire 570 pages book (I read it in German so I have more pages than the English version) in just 5 days. There were many parts that I didn't see coming. This book has no embellishments of war and war crimes. There is a detailed scene where a city was burned down to ashes and the survivors tell of the horror they survived.

If you are able to read such a book I just can recommend it. I directly started the second book. I need to know how this war ends!
