The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling

4.0

Five traditional wizarding fables, with commentary by Albus Dumbledore.

Not what I expected. (Much better, actually.) The stories read very much like any traditional fable, albeit one in which magic is a given. All it needed was slightly outdated pencil drawings dispersed throughout. What I liked most, however, was Dumbledore's commentary on each, which could be funny, informative, and insightful in turns. Overall, a very quick light read to round out my canon knowledge of the Potterverse.
