This story had such a charming vibe.💫
I suspected early on that her friends would end up with the MMC brothers. Arden’s comment about three friends and three brothers was a clear giveaway. I'm especially curious about Myra and the twin. There’s definitely some intriguing history there.
Back to this story. Her ex and Chris? What a pair of manipulative schemers. Thank goodness for the MMC brother, even though he ended up getting shot. But why is his own brother giving him the cold shoulder afterward? That part has me dying to know more.🤔
As for the FMC, I found her behaviour a bit frustrating at times. Something felt slightly off, like we never really got an explanation for how the ex tracked her down or why she didn’t change her number. Then again, he did say he’d already found her, so maybe it wouldn’t have made a difference. Still, I appreciated her growth by the end. Owning up to her mistakes and choosing to apologize. That moment of accountability was satisfying.
Overall, it was a sweet and enjoyable read, though I couldn’t shake the feeling that a small piece was missing.
