Taste: My Life Through Food by Stanley Tucci

emotional funny hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

4.5

Don't read this while hungry. The food always sounds amazing in this book and some how he makes pasta with cheese on it make your mouth water. I didn't know a lot about Stanley Tucci before reading this book but this book was witty, light hearted, endearing and I think captures why food brings us all together. I loved having him narrate the audiobook as well because you can really tell he cares about those around him.

As an audiobook there is no really interesting way to narrate recipes so sometimes he lost me when there were several back to back. That is really my only complaint.

Great read, lots of great recipes. A nice pallet cleanser both metaphorically and literally.
