The Legend Next Door
by Jesse H Reign
Every time I read a new Jesse H. Reign book I say “this is my new favorite Jesse H. Reign book” and The Legend Next Door continues on with that trend. I am in love with her writing style and how connected she makes you feel to her characters.
Ben Stirling is a newly widowed single dad of the sweetest kid and the proud new neighbor of Jeremiah Blake. He also happens to be a super hot hockey legend who was forced into an early retirement. Jeremiah (lovingly known as Jelly) is a jack of all trades, bookish, helpless romantic who is pining for his new neighbor from the moment he lays eyes on him. He really tries to resist. Plans are made to keep his distance and protect his heart, then promptly thrown out the window as soon as he opens his mouth. Prepare yourself to laugh, have a little secondhand embarrassment for these men, and swoonnnnnnn.
