Eileen (grandmother) and Leena (granddaughter) switch lives a year after the passing of Carla (sister/granddaughter). For Eileen the switch is to enable her to live a life she never got to experience in London as she married young and to find some romance again now her marriage is over. For Leena the switch is to help her grieve for her sister, take some time away from work and to make amends with her mother.

I struggled to get into this book and the storyline. I typically do not read stories where one of the main characters is as old as 79 as I find it difficult to relate to. The book for me was very much take it or leave it. I wasn’t overly intrigued by elderly group get togethers and the busy body characters. The only saving grace was some drama and romance.
