Woof. I wanted to like this book for the sake of the mystery and British-ness of it. But it's basically copaganda and the mild jokes that hint of sexism and homophobia are cringe. There's got to be better detective fiction/crime fiction than this.
Minor: Homophobia and Sexism
Glorifies policing and the police, even as it tries to critique British military actions in Bosnia in the 90s.
