Deceived
by Paul S. Kemp
I very much enjoyed this book. Not much is done plot-wise after the first few chapters. But this book is definitely more about its characters. Characters that are flawed and tormented by their weaknesses and pasts. I liked Darth Malgus a lot and found myself rooting for him at times even though he's technically the bad guy. Aryn and Zeerid also made for interesting characters that kept me wanting to read just to see what happened to them. Overall, I think the book was a very good character novel even though there was no grand, overarching plot.
