It was really pretty, and the world was rich, but for some reason I just could not get into this book! It took me about a month to read, and graphic novels usually take me a day or two, at most. I think part of it might be the lack of character development? I found myself most interested during flashbacks and parts where characters were developed at all, instead of the parts going over the history of the world and how the magic/etc works.
