Tasha: A Son's Memoir by Brian Morton

Tasha is a profoundly moving and candid memoir that paints an authentic portrait of life and death, love and hate, and everything in between. Brian Morton’s prose is gut-wrenchingly delightful, and I often found myself laughing one minute and welling with tears the next. Through his earnest portrayal of Tasha, his larger-than-life mother, Morton importantly considers the inherently complex and painful job that is being human.
