Let me just start by saying this book was absolutely beautiful. I went into this with the knowledge that it had something to do with the injustices carried out by the Catholic Church and the Irish Government surrounding the women's laundries and the immoral, unwilling indentured servitude of these young women. The perspective was so interesting, coming from a man who sees the path his life could have taken and the way he wrestles with that knowledge the whole book, and how having the women in his life has helped dictate the actions he ends up taking and the way he thinks of the whole situation he finds himself in. ❤️🩹
It is such a beautiful book and something I'm probably going to reread since it is such an easy book to pick up and finish in one sitting.
