Love on a Whim. The third and (final?) book in the Cape Cod Creamery series. Here we get the third gal of the story--Brynn. and wow. One thing about these books--they always start off with a bang! Each of the three books immediately start you with a major problem that the character is thrust into.

Dawn--she was a jilted bride
Callie--she had just dealt with a massive food poisoning event
Marnie--she was diagnosed with cancer and had lost her husband

And Brynn...she gets married in VEGAS on a whim and then runs away! Wowzer!

Honestly I love books that just drop us right into the major conflict issue. LOL. Exciting from the start.
As with the other books, we still get the inner mind of Dawn and Marnie along for the ride with Brynn. Because they aren't done with their stories yet.

and Bear Hayes. Poor Bear Hayes. So much childhood trauma that is shaping his adult life choices. I think that people will totally identify with SOMEONE in this series. Some of the book is predictable (like Bear and TD), but then things morph in new directions. (emotional Dawn!)

So much of the main theme of these books has simply been that when we have faith in God, and truly put him first, than we can TRUST that He IS in control. We can LEAVE it for him. We don't need to take it back just because it may not go the way we think it should. Oh how guilty we as humans are of that. "I changed my mind. I'll take care of it myself"

Highly recommend this series. Plus it has lots of great food in it. LOL.
4.5 stars.
