Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

3.0

Read through this one as fast as the first. There were some darker tones and the world around the characters was in constant movement. It was hard to find the focus of the story sometimes since it felt like random events where taking place one after another. Things got better once the games started, but that was well into the book. I really enjoyed the characters of the other tributes/winners on the arena.

My opinion might have been affected by the fact that I had recently seen this movie. I still remembered the movie quite well and kept comparing the book to it. The book, turns out, was a lot more informative than watching the second movie of a series you know nothing about...
