There are a lot of fairy tale retellings out there, ones from the villains perspective are every growing in popularity, this is a pretty solid addition. Not just for the queer twist, but also because of the world that's created. This first book has a very YA vibe to it and I'm interested to see where the second book in the duology goes to have made this be classified as adult fiction.
