The Help by Kathryn Stockett
4.0
I thought this book was pretty fantastic. I loved seeing the many viewpoints of the characters. I love when a story is told by many different voices.
I had also heard many good things about the movie adaptation, but when I watched it, I was disappointed. I feel like Skeeter's relationship with her mom was much different in the movie, and that this changed some of the meanings Stockett was trying to get across to readers. I felt that the book was, overall, much more meaningful. It was beautifully written.
