I was really impressed with this book. The little details of the band like Karen, Karen and quirky things like that made it seem so real. I briefly thought they were a real band that I just haven’t heard of before. Choosing to tell this story in hindsight interviews is genius and reads as an unreliable narrator type of story, which are my favorites. The audiobook readers do an incredible job and make the characters so real. I mean, Judy Greer as Karen… perfection. I think the climax was a little anti-climatic, that’s my only complaint but I didn’t hate it so it stays as 5 stars.
